Job summary

Stryker in Ireland is seeking a Manufacturing Operator to perform activities defined by SOPs for manufacturing, inspection or packaging of medical devices. You will produce and package high quality products within a team, and maintain accurate production records.

The role requires Leaving Certificate or equivalent, experience in a regulated manufacturing environment, and good communication skills. Shifts include morning and evening in Macroom, with compensation details noted as hourly pay.

Qualifications

  • Leaving Certificate or Trade or equivalent education level is required.
  • Experience in a regulated manufacturing machine environment is an advantage.
  • Capable of working as part of a multi-disciplined team.
  • Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Producing and/or packaging and labeling high quality product within a team environment, in line with standard operating procedures.
  • Inspecting components by using precision measuring equipment to ensure components meet engineering specifications.
  • Completing production records and maintenance logs.
  • Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping.
  • Adhering to all Health and Safety procedures and requirements.
  • Final Inspection Activities to include finished goods inspection and DHR review.
  • Demonstrating safe working practices, correct use of equipment, product verification and the adherence to EHS, line clearance and 5 pillars compliance.

A Manufacturing Operator at Stryker performs the activities associated with the specific Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs) for the purpose of manufacturing, inspection or packaging of Medical Devices.

Shift availability and schedule (days and times)
  • Morning shift 05:00am - 1pm (Mon-Thurs), 05:00am - 12pm on Fridays.
  • Evening shift 13:00pm - 21:00pm (Mon-Thurs), 12:00pm - 7pm on Fridays.
Ireland Pay Ranges
  • Macroom: 16.87 Hourly
