Job summary

Abbott Ireland Vascular Division in Clonmel seeks personnel for a manufacturing assembly role. You will perform varied electronic, mechanical, or electro-mechanical assembly tasks, read English instructions, and operate various manufacturing equipment.

The position emphasizes compliance, safety, and teamwork within a two-shift schedule (days and evenings). We value candidates with Leaving Certificate and strong communication skills, who can integrate quickly into a team and handle routine

Qualifications

• Leaving Certificate or equivalent.
• Excellent communication / interpersonal skills.
• Enthusiastic and energetic with ability to integrate quickly into a team.
• Cognitive skills; basic troubleshooting from written/verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Performs a wide variety of assembly operations on sub-assemblies; reads and follows English instructions.
• Sets up and operates manufacturing machines following English instructions.
• Cleans tools and equipment; records information on approved documents.
• Disposes hazardous waste material in designated areas.
• Resolves problems, trains other employees as needed.
• Maintains all position certifications and meets daily schedule with supervisor guidance.
