Job summary

Dell Technologies is seeking a Product Operations Principal Engineer in Cork, Ireland, to lead the New Product Introduction for AI Rack solutions. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 12+ years of engineering/manufacturing/new product introduction experience.
• Experience leading complex infrastructure deployments from concept to production.
• Strong cross-functional leadership across global teams.
• Experience with manufacturing readiness and product industrialization.
• Desirable: Master's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Experience with AI infrastructure, HPC, liquid-cooled systems, or Industry 4.0.

Responsibilities

• Lead NPI strategy and execution for AI Rack products from concept through sustained production.
• Drive deployment of AI Rack systems including compute, networking, storage, and liquid cooling technologies.

Product Operations Principal Engineer

What you'll achieve

As a Principal Engineer, you will provide technical leadership for the introduction, deployment, and industrialization of next-generation AI Rack solutions. You will work with Engineering, Product Development, GOE, Supply Chain, Operations, Quality, and Customer teams to drive manufacturing innovation, operational excellence, and successful product launches across all phases of the product lifecycle.

You will:

• Lead NPI strategy and execution for AI Rack products from concept through sustained production, establishing manufacturing readiness plans, qualification strategies, and deployment roadmaps
• Drive deployment of complex AI Rack systems — including compute, networking, storage, and liquid cooling technologies — ensuring processes are capable, scalable, and aligned with future AI product roadmaps
• Provide expert guidance on advanced manufacturing technologies, automation, digitalization, and AI-enabled operational improvements while developing technical standards and best practices
• Partner cross-functionally and coordinate executive-level communications on program status, deployment risks, and mitigation plans to drive decisions and execution across global organizations
• Champion AI-driven solutions and data-driven decision making to improve NPI deployment quality, efficiency, continuous improvement, and customer experience

Essential Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• 12+ years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, operations, new product introduction, or technology deployment environments
• Demonstrated experience leading complex infrastructure, server, data center, AI, or enterprise technology product deployments from concept through production
• Strong technical leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive execution across global organizations
• Experience in manufacturing readiness, product industrialization, problem-solving, and continuous improvement methodologies

Desirable Requirements

• Master's degree in Engineering, Technology, Operations Management, Business, or a related field
• Experience with AI infrastructure, HPC, liquid-cooled systems, digital manufacturing, automation, Industry 4.0, or AI-enabled operational transformation initiatives
