Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a product leader to own a new network-automation product from discovery to early customers in Ireland. You will validate problems, shape the roadmap, and ensure market fit through data-driven decisions.

Work closely with engineering to deliver prototypes and demos, and run discovery sessions with Tier 1 operators and ecosystem partners. A strong telecom OSS background and AI/ML literacy are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven product management experience taking products from zero to one, not just backlog management.
• Deep domain experience in network automation or telecom OSS.
• Strong understanding of telecom/OSS landscape and operators.
• Ability to move between discovery, roadmap, and engineering collaboration.
• AI/ML literacy and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own a new network-automation product end-to-end, from problem definition and discovery through to first customers and early revenue.

• Define what “good” looks like for the product.
• Work closely with presales and delivery to ensure the product is both buildable and commercially compelling.

Requirements

• Proven product management experience taking products from zero to one (concept, prototype, product-market fit, and first customers) rather than managing an established backlog.
• Strong domain experience in RAN automation, SMO, or rApp development.
• A solid understanding of the telecom and OSS landscape.
• The ability to move fluidly between customer discovery, roadmap definition, and hands‑on collaboration with engineering.
• AI/ML literacy.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A bias toward evidence and momentum, comfortable operating with ambiguity.
