A global communications company is hiring a Product Designer in Dublin, Ireland. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable user experiences. Candidates should possess a degree in a relevant field and have 2–4 years of experience in product research and design. This position offers a hybrid working model with a focus on human-centered design and innovative solutions.

You will join the Software Experiences Design team, which provides crucial Human Centered Research & Design approaches across many cross-cutting features and experiences that power Viasats Commercial products and services. We’re looking for a Product Designer who’s excited to explore a variety of product and service challenges across Viasat Commercial Services. You’ll collaborate closely with other designers, engineers, and product managers to craft intuitive, scalable experiences that help people connect and communicate better. This role is a phenomenal fit for someone who enjoys learning quickly, adapting to new problem spaces, and experimenting with AI tools as part of a growing design practice.
This position reports to a Sr. Manager, Product & Service Design, and the opportunity is based in either our Carlsbad Office, CA, with hybrid working, or in our Dublin Office, Ireland, with hybrid working.
A strong, current portfolio of work, demonstrating quality visual design, interaction design, and UX research & design skills, is essential for this position. Your portfolio must also display clarity of thought, empathy for the context, and an abillity to define problems and explore the solution space across a wide range of user experiences.
Travel commitment is expected to be roughly 10%– 15%.
