Job summary

Escondido Pa in Dublin is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate residents and provide individualized therapy plans. You will collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, families and the rehabilitation team to optimize outcomes and discharge planning.

You will supervise CFYs or students, educate families, and maintain compliant documentation while following infection control and safety protocols. A state license is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology; advanced degree preferred.
• Licensed as a Speech Therapist in the state.
• Proficient with Net Health and Point Click Care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine speech therapy needs and rehabilitation potential.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans to improve function.
• Supervise CFY Speech Clinical Fellows and students as applicable.
• Communicate progress and discharge plans with physicians, nursing staff, residents and families.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation in accordance with regulations.
