Job summary

nineDots.io is seeking a security-focused technical leader to shape modern software supply chain security. This role sits on a security-critical platform involved in how software is built, shared, and deployed, influencing trust, risk, and compliance for thousands of engineering teams.

You will set direction for a team, design systems that combine policy engines, vulnerability intelligence, SBOMs, and real-time enforcement, and mentor engineers to elevate quality and security across projects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and operating production systems.
• Strong background in security and software supply chains.
• Experience mentoring teams and leading architectural decisions.
• Familiarity with policy engines, SBOMs, and vulnerability intelligence.

You’ll be working on a security-critical platform that sits directly in the path of how software is built, shared, and deployed. Every architectural decision you make will influence how thousands of engineering teams reason about trust, risk, and compliance in their dependencies.

This role is about technical leadership at scale:

• Setting technical direction for a team redefining artifact security
• Designing systems that combine policy engines, vulnerability intelligence, SBOMs, and real-time enforcement
• Tackling hard distributed systems problems where correctness, performance, and security all matter
• Raising the bar through deep code reviews, mentoring, and pragmatic architectural judgment
