Job summary

Red D Recruitment are recruiting a Director of Operations for one of Dublin's leading five-star luxury hotels. This is a hands-on leadership role working with the General Manager to drive the guest experience, lead a large operational team and uphold luxury standards across every department.

You'll oversee Front Office, F&B, Reservations, Spa, Maintenance and more, mentor senior managers, manage budgets and payroll, and identify opportunities to grow revenue while maintaining cost control.

Qualifications

• Experience as Director of Operations or equivalent in a luxury hotel.
• Proven track record leading multiple hotel departments.
• Strong commercial awareness and financial management skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Passion for developing people and high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily hotel operations with the General Manager.
• Drive guest satisfaction across all departments.
• Maintain a visible leadership presence throughout the hotel.
• Support department heads to achieve operational and financial targets.
• Monitor payroll, purchasing and departmental costs against budgets.
• Identify opportunities to grow revenue while controlling costs.
• Ensure guest feedback is acted upon quickly and effectively.
• Recruit, coach and develop operational managers.
• Build succession plans for future leaders.
• Ensure luxury service standards and compliance across Health & Safety, HACCP, Fire Safety.
