Job summary

Edwards Lifesciences is seeking a production inspection technician to examine devices and components, ensuring quality per design specs. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to GMP/GDP, and basic manufacturing software skills.

Work hours include Monday to Thursday, 5:45 AM to 4:00 PM, with opportunities to learn through line clearance, documentation reviews, and participation in special projects.

Qualifications

• 2 years of previous related experience, including GMP and GDP.
• Required H.S. Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspection on components and finished medical device products using various tools to ensure conformance with design specifications.
• Operate microscopes and automated inspection equipment to verify dimensional requirements.
• Conduct functional testing of complex finished devices using automated and manual equipment.
• Review, follow and perform tasks per SOPs; record traceable information on device history records.
• Assist with training of other inspectors and support shift transitions with status briefings.
