Job summary

Dawn Meats Group in Waterford is hiring a Quality Control Technician to join the Carrolls Cross Quality Team. You will perform hourly quality checks, collect samples, and support continuous improvement across production areas.

The role requires good English, strong attention to detail, teamwork, and flexibility to work day, evening, and mid-shift schedules, including Saturdays when scheduled. Own transport is required to access Carrolls Cross site.

Qualifications

• Good command of English required.

• Willingness to learn and flexible to support QC team.
• Able to work three shifts, with Saturday availability.

Responsibilities

• Perform hourly quality and due diligence checks to ensure customer/spec compliance.
• Carry out daily pre-start checks in production areas.
• Record quality data and report for continuous improvement.
• Collect meat and environmental samples for microbial testing.
• Support audits and uphold 'Always Audit Ready' culture.
• Assist QC team and production staff on safety and traceability.
