Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Power Project Manager to lead end-to-end electrical infrastructure projects on a live, safety-critical campus. You will manage LV/MV/HV networks, substations, switchgear, transformers, SCADA and protection systems, ensuring compliance with ESB Networks, safety rules and IEC/EN standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years delivering complex power infrastructure projects.
• Strong technical grounding across LV/MV/HV systems.
• Hands-on NEC4 contract administration (Options A, C, D).
• Experience managing multidisciplinary design teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to balance engineering rigor with commercial discipline and regulatory complexity.
• RAMS, permit-to-work systems, and electrical isolation procedures experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end power infrastructure projects across LV, MV and HV networks.
• Develop and deliver substations, switchgear, transformers, SCADA and protection systems to meet standards.
• Shape and implement Battery Energy Storage, solar PV, backup generation and UPS strategies.
• Oversee condition surveys and lifecycle assessments using field testing and analysis.
• Coordinate across electrical, civil, structural, ICT and controls teams; run technical reviews and commissioning planning.
• Manage projects in live environments with NEC4 contract administration and change control.
