University College Dublin invites applications for a Post-doctoral Research Fellow Level 1 in the UCD School of Law. The post supports the RIGHTS-TO-UNITE ERC Advanced Grant led by Prof Dagmar Schiek.

The appointment starts 18 January 2027 and can accommodate part-time arrangements. The project develops a socio-legal theory of European integration using qualitative methods, including expert interviews and focus groups, with international collaboration across Ireland, the UK, Norway, and beyond.

Formación

• Experience in qualitative comparative research, including focus groups and expert interviews.
• Strong knowledge of European integration theories, especially integration through law and rights.
• Excellent academic communication skills in English.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct focus groups and expert interviews to gather data.
• Collaborate with an international team and advisory board.
• Disseminate findings through academic writing and presentations.
