Our Purpose is to Transform the Power System for Future Generations, and our primary goal is to collaborate with the Island’s Electricity Sector on Sustainability and Decarbonisation.

The role of the Chief Transformation and Technology Office (CTTO) is to vision, lead, transform, digitise, and deliver a transformational capability that enables Ireland’s power system and market to meet the targets for 2030 and beyond.

  • Ensuring consistent delivery methodologies, standards, and governance
  • Managing portfolio level risks, dependencies, and performance
  • Supporting in the development of executive‑level reporting on programme status, outcomes, and benefits

Aligned with EirGrid’s strategic goals, we will look to you to drive delivery excellence, ensure business value, and enable effective decision‑making through robust governance and insight.

The role reports to the Head of Programme Management Office, who has responsibility for driving long term transformation planning for CTTO’s strategic programmes through best‑in‑class programme management, governance, and business alignment.

About You
  • Qualification to degree level or equivalent qualification supported by 8+ years of experience within a similar role

  • Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills with an aptitude to work in a complex environment
  • Experience of all phases of project delivery from Preparation to Execution to Transition, ensuring stage gate controls and relevant sign offs are in place throughout the project
  • Experience of the delivery of project milestones and deliverables and delivering an outcome that is capable of achieving the benefits defined in the Business Case, at the appropriate level of quality
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
