AbbVie's North Dublin site seeks a PMO Support Engineer to join the Global Program Management team, working with limited supervision to support complex program execution. The role coordinates the PM software, drives standards and dashboards, and ensures timely updates with cross-functional partners in engineering and manufacturing.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor's in engineering or science and about five years of experience, with strong communication and collaborative skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, science, or related discipline, or equivalent technical experience.
• Around 5 years of significant engineering and/or operational experience.
• Strong project management skills and cross-functional collaboration.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

Responsabilités

• Acts as the coordinator/administrator for the Program Management Software Solution.
• Support continuous improvement of program/project management standards, processes, and methodologies.
• Develop and report metrics and dashboards to track and display progress of programs/projects.
• Ensures awareness of project/program status and issues; presents updates with Global Program Management teams.
• Coordinates and tracks programs following established standards.
• Leads coordination and execution of PMO processes and meetings with agenda and reports.
• Supports Long Range Plan and Capital Plan submissions; ensures gating in PM software.
• Writes project justifications (Request for Capital Expenditure).
• Supports other department continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Description

We are looking for a PMO Support Engineer to join our GlobalProgram Managementteam and be based out of our site in North Dublin. This engineering professional will be skilled at working with little or no supervision, appliesadvanced scientific knowledge, engineering knowledge, mathematics, and ingenuity to complete complex assignments. Contributes to the development of new principles and concepts. Coordinates and supports successful execution of global program management using a project/portfolio management software solution. The ideal candidate willbe comingfrom aPharmaceuticalmanufacturing background.

• Acts as thecoordinator/administrator for the Program Management Software Solution
• Supportcontinuous improvement ofprogram/projectmanagement standards, processes, and methodologies
• Develop and report metrics and dashboards to track and display progress of programs/projects
• Ensuresawareness of project/program status and issues. Develops and presents project/program updates in liaison with Global Program Management teams.
• Coordinates and tracks programs follow established standards.
• Leads coordination and execution of PMO processes and meetings by preparing agenda and reports to ensure awareness of project/program progress and issues of interest to the Global Program Management team.
• Supports department Long Range Plan (LRP) and Capital Plan submissions byanalysingprojects/programs for accuracy and detail. Ensures project/programs are gated in a project/portfolio management software solution.
• Writes project justifications (Request for Capital Expenditure)
• Supports other department continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• ABachelor's Degree in Engineering, science, or closely related discipline isdesired, or equivalent technical experience plusdemonstratedcompetence, with a desired 5 years of significant engineering and/or operational experience.
• Hasdemonstratedexcellence in breadth and depth within discipline and across disciplines.
• Strong Project Management skills. Interacts well with diverse groups within engineering andmaintainsstrong working relationships with internal and external collaborators.
• Listens to and understands others' points of view and articulates tactfully and respectfully one's own perspective orally, in writing, and in presentations.
• Works well with othersin a collaborative, fast-paced, goal-driven environment.
• Strong presentation and management communication skills.
