Elasticsearch B.V. seeks a proactive Platform Engineering Productivity lead to own CI/CD and release infrastructure across the company, enabling fast, secure deployments at scale.

You will shape roadmaps, identify bottlenecks, and implement gatekeeping for supply chain integrity while guiding engineers through complex projects and documenting architectures and processes. Qualifications

• Deep expertise in CI/CD and hardening release pipelines against supply chain attacks.
• Strong debugging instincts across the pipeline stack from test runner to cluster deployment.
• Hands-on with CI infra like Buildkite, GitHub Actions, or equivalent, GitOps/ArgoCD, and Kubernetes.

Responsabilités

• Define roadmap and technical vision for CI/CD, from problem to org-wide adoption.
• Identify bottlenecks, friction, or security risks and drive remediation.
• Design and enforce release gates for supply chain integrity and release readiness at scale.
• Direct engineers on multi-quarter projects, break down architecture, assign work, own outcomes.
• Drive clear technical communication and produce high-quality docs for systems and processes.
• Act as Incident Commander on high-severity supply chain or release incidents and drive improvements.
• Raise engineering bar through code reviews, mentorship, and design reviews.
• Remain hands-on where needed, reviewing code, prototyping, and debugging production issues.
