Job summary

Speechify is seeking a Software Engineer, Platform in Dublin, Ireland to design, build, and maintain backend services powering payments, analytics, subscriptions, and TTS features. This on-site role emphasizes strategic thinking, fast-paced delivery, and user-focused product decisions.

You will work with a flat team to ship reliable APIs and collaborate with other engineers, product and design to improve the platform.

Qualifications

• Proven backend development experience with TS/Node.
• Experience with GCP and knowledge of AWS, Azure or other cloud providers.
• Ability to design scalable APIs and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust APIs including public TTS API, internal APIs like Payment, Subscription, Auth and Consumption Tracking.
• Oversee the full backend API landscape, enhancing and optimizing for performance and maintainability.
• Collaborate on B2B solutions, focusing on customization and integration needs for enterprise clients.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to align backend architecture with overall product strategy and user experience.
