Job summary

Frey Consulting Group is seeking a capable Service Engineer to maintain and repair a wide range of plant and equipment across workshops and customer sites in Dublin and surrounding areas. The role involves servicing, fault finding, and supporting equipment turnover, with a company vehicle provided and clear opportunities for long-term career progression within an established hire specialist.

You will carry out preventative maintenance, attend sites, and ensure safety checks to keep equipment

Qualifications

• Background as Plant Fitter or Service Engineer.
• Experience servicing mobile equipment and on-site field work.
• Strong mechanical fault-finding skills with hydraulic/electrical troubleshooting.
• Trade qualification is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned servicing and maintenance on plant equipment.
• Diagnose faults and perform breakdown repairs.
• Attend customer sites for field service work.
• Prepare equipment for hire and handover.
• Maintain accurate service records.
