Job description
PLACED | Paris 7th | English‑Speaking Nanny | September2025

A family that previously used Nannies Incorporated services is seeking an English‑speaking nanny for the start of the school year in September2025. She will take over from the nanny placed by the agency in 2017.

The household consists of both parents and three children, aged 15, 12, and 4. The primary focus will be on caring for the 4‑year‑old daughter.

The two older children attend school and are fairly independent. However, the nanny will be responsible for ensuring that they continue to thrive.

The little girl attends school every day until either 3pm or 4pm, depending on the day.

Each morning, someone assists the mother during breakfast. The nanny will also support the family during this crucial part of the day and accompany the little girl and the eldest to school.

During school weeks, the nanny will work 38 hours per week, as follows:

Monday: 7:45–9:45 and 15:00–20:00

Tuesday: 7:45–9:45 and 16:00–23:00

Thursday: 7:45–9:45 and 15:00–23:00

Friday: 15:00–20:00

During school holidays, the nanny will work 47 hours per week, as follows:

Monday to Friday: 9:30–19:30

Three to six weeks will be spent outside of Paris and the nanny will have to accompany the family.

The nanny will be responsible for all the needs of the little girl and occasionally for the older ones.

Responsibilities include ensuring the children’s daily safety; maintaining routines; preparing the children’s evening meals; taking them to their Wednesday and weekday activities; organizing age‑appropriate educational activities; accompanying them to extracurriculars; offering academic support and general upbringing.

Homework is done in both English and French, but the nanny is only required to help the youngest with her English homework.

The nanny should also provide emotional support to the children.

The family offers six and a half weeks of paid leave — two weeks at Christmas and the entire month of August.

There are two household staff members present on the employer’s premises.

Salary: €4,000 net per month, annualised. Additional compensation will be provided if the family requests the nanny to accompany them on holiday.

Please note that only candidates who hold an EU passport or already have the right to work in France will be considered.
