PLACED | Dubai | Native English-Speaking Nanny/Governess | September 2025

A warm and welcoming family based in Dubai are looking for a native English-speaking nanny/governess to support the care, development, and education of their 18-month-old child. The family are also expecting a second baby in October 2025, and while the primary focus will remain on the toddler, an understanding of newborn routines and gentle transitions between siblings will be appreciated.

Working Hours

8–12 hour working days, 5 days per week.

Key Duties
  • Supporting and enhancing the child’s early education and language acquisition in English
  • Planning and delivering engaging, age‑appropriate educational activities
  • Promoting gross and fine motor development through sensory, messy, and nature play
  • Encouraging imaginative and creative play, as well as early speech and language development
  • Continuously adapting your approach to match the child’s developmental stage
  • Providing a nurturing, calm, and responsive environment aligned with gentle parenting principles
Candidate Requirements
  • A qualification in education or early childhood development
  • Native-level, accent-free English
  • A kind, patient, and proactive personality with a passion for early years development
  • Prior experience with toddlers and a good understanding of developmental milestones
Accommodation

The family is open to both live-in and live-out options. For live-in candidates, a private bedroom and separate bathroom within the family home will be provided.

Starting from around £1,000‑£1,200 per week for a 5‑day work week, depending on the agreed working hours and whether the role is live-in or live-out.
