Job summary

Aureol Global Connections is seeking a skilled Pipework Rigger to join our team in Ireland. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient rigging and lifting of pipework components during installation projects.

You will set up and operate rigging gear, inspect equipment, and coordinate with pipefitters to ensure precise and safe movements. A strong safety mindset and the ability to read load charts are essential.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; relevant rigging certifications are a plus.
Experience in rigging, preferably in pipework or related construction fields.
Ability to read and interpret rigging plans and load charts.
Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
Physically fit and capable of performing demanding manual tasks.
Valid driver's license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate rigging equipment to lift, move, and position pipework components.
Inspect rigging gear such as slings, chains, hooks, and hoists for safety and serviceability.
Work closely with pipefitters and other trades to coordinate pipe handling and installation.
Follow all safety protocols and regulatory requirements during rigging operations.
Monitor load movements to ensure accuracy and safety throughout lifting procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
Report any safety hazards or equipment issues to supervisors promptly.
