Job summary

A pharmacy in Tipperary is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a permanent full-time role. Responsibilities include assisting in the dispensary, preparing prescriptions, and providing excellent customer service. Candidates must have a higher certificate in Pharmacy Technician studies and at least 2 years of experience in an Irish pharmacy. This role offers a supportive team environment with no Sunday or late night shifts.

Job description

Clarity is recruiting a Pharmacy Technician for a pharmacy based in Templemore, Co. Tipperary.

What you need to know:

This is a permanent, full‑time position, 40h/week. You will be required to work every 2nd Saturday of the month. No Sundays or late nights past 6pm are required. There is a great support team in the store to help cater to a steady flow of customers. MPS is the dispensing system used.

What you'll be doing:
  • Assisting in the dispensary
  • Answering phone calls, responding to inquiries or requests
  • Preparing and dispensing prescriptions to patients
  • Managing and monitoring the prescribed dosages
  • Taking care of paperwork and monthly claims (if needed)
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Any other duties as required
What we’re looking for:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of the team as well as on your own initiative
  • Good time management
  • Passion for the delivery of excellent customer service
What we require:
  • You must be reliable and ready to take on new challenges.
  • Higher certificate in Pharmacy Technician studies; IPU course.
  • Previous Irish Pharmacy Technician experience (at least 2 years)

Salary is negotiable and based on experience!
