Job summary

A leading and progressive Pharmacy with branches throughout Ireland is seeking a Pharmacy Technician in County Roscommon. You will assist the Pharmacist with prescriptions, advise customers and handle stock, invoicing and accounts while providing excellent service.

No Sundays and no late nights; store opens 9am-6pm, with 1-2 Saturdays per month and ample notice. Ideal for someone with nursing homes experience and a keen interest in healthcare.

Qualifications

• A Pharmacy Technician qualification is required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a pharmacy setting.
• Experience with nursing homes and accounts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist with preparing, receiving and organising prescriptions.
• Provide excellent customer service face-to-face, by phone and email.
• Manage stock, place orders and maintain merchandising.
• Support pharmacy accounts, invoicing, payments and claims follow-ups.

About Your New Pharmacy Technician job

• Provide excellent customer service face-to-face, by phone and email, advising on medications and OTC products.
• Assist the Pharmacist with preparing, receiving and organising prescriptions.
• Manage stock, place orders and maintain effective merchandising within the pharmacy.
• Build strong relationships with customers, healthcare professionals and the wider team.
• Support pharmacy accounts, including invoicing, payments, claims and payment follow-ups.

What Skills You Need for this Job

• A relevant Pharmacy Technician Qualification
• Previous experience working in a Pharmacy as a technicianof at least 2+ years
• A strong interested in the Healthcare and Pharmaceutical industry
• Experience dealing with Nursing Homes
• Accounts experience
• Experience with Touchstore is a strong advantage
