Job summary

McCauley Pharmacy Carrick-on-Suir is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Healthcare Advisor on a fixed-term contract to join our team. You will manage the OTC counter, assist customers on the shop floor, and act as the primary contact for customers with a focus on service and product knowledge.

The role requires excellent communication, strong work ethic, confidentiality, and the ability to multi-task in a busy community pharmacy environment. Prior OTC experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Previous Pharmacy OTC experience in a community Pharmacy with excellent product knowledge would be an important advantage.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to get along with a variety of different personalities.
• Good prioritising, multi-tasking and organisational skills.
• Be confidential and empathetic to our Customer needs.
• Must have a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• To deliver a high level of customer service and to adhere to company policies and ethos.
• Ability to offer customers exceptional assistance.
• To ensure that the pharmacy is properly merchandised and kept clean and tidy and ensure that stock levels are maintained correctly.
• Cash handling and stock rotation.
