Job summary

AstraZeneca is hiring a Process Maintenance Technician for the Athlone Fill Finish facility in Monksland. The role covers maintenance, repair, troubleshooting and vendor coordination to keep production equipment running safely and reliably in a 24x7 environment.

Experience with CMMS and calibration systems, plus GMP knowledge and strong problem-solving and communication skills, are essential. This is a permanent shift role with 4 cycle, 12.25 hr shifts and a 41.1 hr average work week.

Qualifications

• Hands-on CMMS and calibration systems experience.
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Good interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills.
• GMP requirements for process equipment, instrumentation and calibration.

Responsibilities

• Own EH&S responsibilities and ensure work follows EHS regulations.
• Support maintenance of equipment, repairs and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate maintenance with service vendors in Fill Finish environment.
• Maintain Maintenance Quality System and cGMP compliance.
• Use CMMS and Calibration Systems to plan, document activities.
• Provide technical support to Operations, Validation, Engineering and Quality teams.
• Assist in training junior Maintenance Technicians.
• Provide on-call support during operations, projects and shutdowns.
