Job summary

AstraZeneca in Dublin is seeking a Packaging Operator to manage day-to-day packaging activities at the Dublin facility, ensuring SOPs and cGMP are followed and representing Alexion interests professionally.

You will maintain training on equipment and safety, perform packaging to meet schedules with strong GMP compliance, and support deviations, SOPs, and master batch records. The role emphasizes continuous improvement and regulatory support.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of packaging operations in a fast paced GMP environment.
• Knowledge of regulatory and GMP requirements.
• Experience with SAP and serialization systems.
• Be energetic, flexible and a good team player.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all training on equipment, processes and safety procedures is up to date.
• Perform day‑to‑day packaging activities to meet schedules with high GMP compliance.
• Maintain high level of GMP compliance to ensure patient safety and minimize risk to business.
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolving operational problems during packaging.
• Draft and revise SOPs and master batch records as needed.
• Assist in deviation investigations and closures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying areas for improvement and implementing approved strategies.
• Support regulatory licensure activities, including agency inspections.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by Area Supervisor.
