Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an IT Software Engineer to join its IT Engineers team. The role focuses on developing and supporting software solutions for production and business areas, with emphasis on data integrity and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience delivering software, strong Python/SQL/Java skills, and Pharma CSV and GMP data integrity knowledge. Independent work, good communication, and problem solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 to 5 years of experience delivering and supporting IT software solutions.
• Experience developing testing and deploying software using Python SQL and Java.
• Pharmaceutical industry experience with knowledge of GMP CSV and data integrity requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance multiple software systems ensuring high availability and data integrity.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand requirements and deliver system improvements.
• Create and maintain documentation covering design security testing and change protocols.
