Job summary

Wallace Myers International is recruiting for an Automation Engineer to work on contract at Sanofi in Waterford. The role is Day Shift on a Ltd contract with an initial 18 months and a starting pay rate of €55/hr, depending on experience and capability.

Responsibilities include day-to-day automation support, cross-functional collaboration with Fill Finish, Packaging, Projects, and Facilities, and driving improvements to PLC/SCADA systems while ensuring compliance with GAMP validation.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in pharma automation or control systems.
• Experience with PLC/SCADA systems and validation.
• Strong communication and cross-functional teamwork.
• Familiarity with GAMP lifecycle and change control.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day automation support to operations.
• Collaborate with Fill Finish, Packaging, Projects, Maintenance, Facilities.
• Identify and implement improvements to PLC/SCADA workflows.
• Generate and execute change controls and validation protocols.
• Ensure compliance with GAMP lifecycle validation.
