Job summary

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Level 7 degree in Social Care or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in the ID sector, preferably in a management or supervisory role.
  • In the process of CORU registration.
  • Working knowledge of HIQA standards and regulations.
  • Garda Vetting/Police Clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support staff in delivering high-quality services for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
  • Oversee and implement each person's Personal Plan through regular reviews.
  • Liaise with families and schools to ensure continuity of support.
  • Support the PIC in ensuring compliance with HIQA regulations.
  • Manage key operational areas including safety, risk, finances, and transport.

  • Job Type: Full-Time, Monday to Friday (some on-call as required)
  • Working Week: 40 hours a week
  • Location of Work: Tullamore, Co. Offaly
  • Responsible for 2 centres

Role Responsibilities
  • Lead and support staff in delivering high-quality services for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
  • Oversee and implement each persons Personal Plan through regular reviews.
  • Liaise with families, schools, and day programme staff to ensure continuity of support.
  • Support the PIC in ensuring compliance with HIQA regulations and standards.
  • Ensure delivery of appropriate, person-centred care and support for daily living activities.
  • Manage key operational areas including safety, risk, finances, transport, and rosters.
  • Provide leadership, supervision, and performance management for assigned staff.
  • Support staff development through training, personal development planning, and reviews.
  • Keep records and databases up to date, including monitoring and auditing processes.
  • Act as a point of contact for the service, addressing queries professionally and promptly.
