Job summary

KNIFE EDGE FENCING LIMITED is seeking 2 qualified Welders to join our Dublin team. You will fabricate, assemble and repair metal structures to high safety and quality standards in a permanent, full-time position offering competitive remuneration and long-term progression.

The role requires reading engineering drawings, performing welding on steel/stainless/aluminium, and working with the team on-site or in the workshop. A relevant welding certification and Safe Pass/CSCS may be required.

Qualifications

• Professional welding experience in industry (structural, fabrication, manufacturing, construction).
• Welding certification/qualification (e.g., QQI/FETAC Level 5/6, ISO 9606, AWS, or internationally recognised equivalent).
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Valid Safe Pass / CSCS card (if applicable to your sector).

Responsibilities

• Perform welding operations on steel, stainless steel, and/or aluminium.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
• Measure, cut, and prepare metal components prior to welding.
• Conduct visual inspections and basic quality checks on completed welds.
• Maintain welding equipment and ensure compliance with health & safety regulations.
• Work collaboratively with engineers, supervisors, and other trades on site/workshop.
• Adhere to company quality standards and ISO/EN welding procedures where applicable.
