Job summary

Horizons Cork in Montenotte, Cork, is seeking Staff Nurses to join the Horizons Children’s Hub. The role focuses on compassionate, patient-centred care for children with disabilities, with both part-time and full-time positions available.

You will work within the Children’s Services in Montenotte, supporting complex healthcare needs and coordinating with the disability network team to deliver high-quality care. Opportunities for development and a supportive environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Possess a relevant third level qualification in Nursing.
• Be on the live register of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland.
• Demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centred approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to children and young people with intellectual disabilities and/or autism.
• Assist in assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of individual support plans.
• Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and service development.
• Ensure safeguarding, dignity and inclusion are central to practice.
