Job summary

Moog Ireland is seeking a PCB Test Technician to support production activities onsite in Carrigaline. The role reports to the PCB Production Supervisor and involves setting up and testing Moog products, using a range of test equipment, diagnosing issues, and contributing to process improvements.

Required are a Level 6 Electronics Engineering qualification and at least two years in a regulated environment; Lean experience and IPC certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 6 qualification in Electronics Engineering or related discipline.
• At least two years of experience in an ISO9001 or equivalent regulated environment.
• Lean experience is advantageous.
• IPC 7711/7721 and IPC-A-610 certifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Set up and test Moog products using schematics, layout drawings, assembly drawings, procedures and specifications.
• Use test equipment such as Digital Multimeters, Power Supplies, Oscilloscopes, Function Generators, ESS Chambers and vibration tables for test and troubleshooting.
• Test and debug electronic motor controllers according to established procedures.
• Perform failure analysis for production and returned assemblies and provide feedback to support teams for process improvements.
• Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and develop solutions.
• Assist in Technician Training, knowledge sharing and product familiarisation.
• Complete all necessary test related documentation including yield reporting and non-conformance data.
