About the Role

We are partnering with a leading global manufacturing organisation based in Kilkenny to hire a Payroll & Accounts Administrator on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract, with strong potential for extension.

This is a key role in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment, supporting accurate, compliant payroll processing and providing essential finance administration support. As a Payroll & Finance Administrator, you will work closely with both HR and Finance teams, ensuring smooth payroll operations and contributing to broader finance functions.

This Payroll & Finance Administrator role is ideal for someone who is detail-driven, organised and experienced in Irish payroll processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and process fortnightly payroll in line with statutory and company deadlines.
  • Ensure compliance with all Irish payroll legislation, including PAYE, PRSI, USC, and statutory deductions.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and support internal and external audits.
  • Manage annual leave accruals, employee entitlements, and related payroll adjustments.
  • Respond to employee payroll queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with HR to ensure employee data and changes are accurately reflected in payroll.
  • Support the Finance team with accounts administration tasks, documentation, and reporting as required.
  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives within payroll and finance processes.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in end-to-end payroll administration, ideally within a medium-to-large organisation.
  • Strong understanding of Irish payroll legislation and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Experience with payroll software and competent in Microsoft Excel and Office applications.
  • High attention to detail with excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, particularly when dealing with employee queries.
