Job summary

A leading pharmacy service in Waterford is seeking a part-time pharmacy technician to provide safe and efficient dispensing services. The role involves maintaining stock levels, engaging with customers, and ensuring medicine delivery compliance. Candidates must hold registration with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland and have at least 1 year of post-registration experience. Flexible working hours available, primarily on Tuesdays and Fridays with competitive, negotiable salary.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of relevant pharmacological experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a safe and efficient dispensing service to customers.
  • Ensure safe and effective delivery of medicines.

  • Maintain appropriate stock levels in the pharmacy.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Job description
About the Role:

This is a permanent, part-time position offering 2 days per week:
– Tuesday: 9:00am to 10:00pm
– Friday: 9:00am to 6:00pm

The pharmacy operates using the MPS dispensing system. You will be working alongside a supportive and experienced team including four shop staff on rotating shifts, a highly experienced pharmacy technician, and the pharmacist owner.

What you'll be doing:
  • Provide a safe and efficient dispensing service to all customers in accordance with pharmacy guidelines.
  • Ensure safe and effective delivery of medicines to all customers.
  • Engage actively with customers to encourage loyalty and confidence.
  • Maintain appropriate stock levels in the pharmacy ensuring correct storage and monitoring of dated products.
  • Any other duties as required.

Salary is DOE and is negotiable.
