Job summary

McGreals Pharmacy Newbridge is recruiting a part-time Over the Counter Assistant to join our community pharmacy team on Saturdays. As the first point of contact for patients, you will work with the pharmacy team to deliver excellent care, handle queries over the counter and by phone, and assist with OTC sales.

Experience in pharmacy is not essential but an advantage; experience in retail or hospitality is required.

Responsibilities

• First point of contact for patients when they enter the pharmacy.
• Work with the pharmacy team to provide excellent care to our patients.
• Deal with patients queries both over the counter and by telephone.
• Assist with over-the-counter sales.
• Check orders when they arrive and put away in the appropriate area.
• Ensure shelves are filled with the correct amount of stock.
• Reorder stock as required.
• Ensure work areas are clean and tidy at all times.
