Job summary

Support 4U are homecare providers. We deliver in-home support to clients in Carlow, including children and adults with Autism, mental health needs, and the elderly. You will work day shifts with afternoons, on a set roster based on availability, and with travel to client homes.

The role requires relevant care qualifications, a full driving licence with access to transport, and excellent English communication. Pay ranges hourly with benefits described by the employer.

Job description

Part Time Home Care Assistants:

Support 4U are currently recruiting Home Care Assistants to join our team. The positions are in various Carlow Town and surrounding locations. The shifts are day shifts for mainly afternoons. A minimum of 3 days available to work each week required. You will have a set roster, with shifts based on your availability given. Same set days & shift times each week.

We will also consider any applicant for Saturday working only either, with full day availability.

Requirements for the role:

• Minimum FL5 Healthcare Qualification OR FL5 SNA Qualification OR a degree in Social Care and or working towards.
• People Moving & Manual handling Certificate.
• Children First Certificate.
• This role requires you to have a FULL driving licence & access to your own transport.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in the English language, written and verbal.
• Afternoon availability is required.

Pay: €14.15-€16.65 per hour

Expected hours: 9.0 - 18.0 per week
