Job summary

Sodexo Group is seeking a part-time Cleaning Operative in Bishopstown, Cork. The role involves maintaining clean and welcoming learning spaces, performing daily cleaning tasks, and supporting safety and sanitation procedures.

Flexible to 8am–6pm or 9am–5pm shifts, with Saturday work and a €14.80 hourly rate. This fixed-term position offers opportunities for career development and access to Sodexo’s benefits package.

Qualifications

• Cleaning experience is helpful but not required; training provided.
• Able to work solo or as part of a team.
• Flexible to handle varying daily tasks and schedules.
• Good spoken and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Brighten the learning spaces and keep environments welcoming.
• Complete daily cleaning tasks on your shift and assist with incoming tasks.
• Provide a speedy, spotless service and support safety and sanitation procedures.
• Help keep students and staff safe through proper hygiene practices.

What you'll do:

• Brighten the building's Learning spaces
• Help our teams maintain a welcoming environment, completing your list of daily cleaning tasks
• Support with incoming tasks, providing a speedy and spotless service
• Help us keep our teams and students safe through safety and sanitation procedures

What you'll bring:

• Cleaning experience is great, but not essential - we'll show you the ropes!
