Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Assist on audit assignments from planning to completion.
  • Prepare statutory financial statements for SME clients.

  • Support preparation of management accounts and advisory reports.
  • Maintain books and records for various clients.
  • Liaise with clients under guidance from Managers and Partners.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines.
  • Develop technical knowledge in line with ACA training.

The Opportunity

Our client is a well-established and growing SME firm of Chartered Accountants based in Dublin South/City, advising a diverse client base across property and construction, financial services, technology, marketing and communications, and not-for-profit organisations.

As part of their continued growth, the firm is now seeking to recruit a Part-Qualified Chartered Accountant to join their Audit & Accounts team. This role is ideally suited to someone currently undertaking, or committed to undertaking, the ACA / Chartered Accountant qualification and looking to complete their training in a high-quality SME practice environment.

You will gain broad exposure across audit, accounts, and advisory work, working closely with Managers and Partners while progressing through your professional exams.

Key Responsibilities

Candidate Profile
  • Currently studying, or committed to studying, the ACA / Chartered Accountant qualification

  • Relevant experience in an accountancy practice environment preferred

  • Strong academic background with a genuine interest in audit and accounting

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong attention to detail with a willingness to learn

  • Ability to manage deadlines and workload alongside exam commitments

  • Motivated, ambitious, and keen to build a long-term career in practice
