The Person
EZ Living Furniture are looking to recruit a Part Qualified Accountant/Recently Qualified Accountant who will be based in our Head Office in Galway city.
Job Responsibilities
Full responsibility for two group companies, including, but not limited to:
- Processing invoices, payments & expenses in multiple currencies.
- Managing VAT, VIES & Intrastat filings.
- Performing bank reconciliations & maintaining the general ledger.
- Preparing monthly management accounts.
- Liaising with auditors on year‑end accounts.
Group responsibilities to include
- Preparing budgets for various departments & variance analysis.
- Collaborating cross‑departmentally with various stakeholders to resolve budget variances.
- Conducting departmental cost reviews.
- Liaising with internal stakeholders on various queries.
- Ad hoc duties to be performed as and when required.
Skills/Qualifications
- Qualified Accounting Technician/Part Qualified Accountant desirable.
- Knowledge and experience in using accounting software.
- Demonstrated experience in using Microsoft Excel.
- The candidate should be a high‑energy individual with excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Key attributes also necessary include efficient work methods, working both as part of a team and independently, and good interpersonal skills.
