The Person

EZ Living Furniture are looking to recruit a Part Qualified Accountant/Recently Qualified Accountant who will be based in our Head Office in Galway city.

Job Responsibilities

Full responsibility for two group companies, including, but not limited to:

• Processing invoices, payments & expenses in multiple currencies.
• Managing VAT, VIES & Intrastat filings.
• Performing bank reconciliations & maintaining the general ledger.
• Preparing monthly management accounts.
• Liaising with auditors on year‑end accounts.

Group responsibilities to include

• Preparing budgets for various departments & variance analysis.
• Collaborating cross‑departmentally with various stakeholders to resolve budget variances.
• Conducting departmental cost reviews.
• Liaising with internal stakeholders on various queries.
• Ad hoc duties to be performed as and when required.

Skills/Qualifications

• Qualified Accounting Technician/Part Qualified Accountant desirable.
• Knowledge and experience in using accounting software.
• Demonstrated experience in using Microsoft Excel.
• The candidate should be a high‑energy individual with excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
• Key attributes also necessary include efficient work methods, working both as part of a team and independently, and good interpersonal skills.
