Join the restoration and maintenance team of one of Ireland’s most historic and charming country estates. Set in peaceful countryside, this role is perfect for someone who enjoys craftsmanship, calm surroundings, and working with quality materials.

Role Overview

You will carry out high‑quality painting, decorating, tiling, and general surface restoration across guest rooms, public areas, and exterior spaces. The ideal candidate has solid hands‑on experience and takes pride in maintaining premium finishes.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and finish walls, ceilings, woodwork, and other surfaces.
• Apply paints, varnishes, stains, wallpapers, and decorative finishes.
• Install and repair wall and floor tiles in bathrooms, kitchens, and public areas.
• Perform minor plastering, filling, and touch‑ups.
• Maintain high decorative standards across the estate.
• Use ladders, tools, and equipment safely.
• Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to minimise guest disruption.
• Keep work areas organised and tidy.

Candidate Requirements

Essential

• Professional experience as a Painter, Decorator, or Tiler.
• Background in hotel, commercial, or renovation projects.
• Strong craftsmanship and attention to detail.
• Full, valid driver’s licence.
• Good spoken and written English.
• EU citizenship or legal right to work in Ireland.
• Ability to provide verifiable references and a portfolio.

Desirable

• Experience in luxury hotels, listed buildings, or restoration.
• Knowledge of traditional decorative techniques.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
