Job Description

Job Title: Painter/Decorator
Employer: Peppard Construction Limited
Location: 27 Fitzwilliam Street Lower, Dublin 2 and several locations across Ireland according to the client.
Salary: €34,882 per year
Hours: 40 hrs/wk

Responsibilities
  • Application of specialist coating by brush and spray.
  • Surface preparation by various means.
  • Grit blasting.
  • Decorating painting, drawings and textures as per job specification.
  • Maintaining painting of interior and exterior spaces.
  • Repainting internal walls, doors and woodwork as required.
  • Preparing all work areas by covering surfaces with protective materials.
  • Using putty, caulk, plaster and other fillers to fill cracks and holes as required.
  • Mixing and matching paint colours, stain, or varnish.
  • Monitoring and maintaining presentation standards.
  • Performing general maintenance and painting repairs internally and externally.
Requirements
  • Good knowledge of English is preferable.
  • Completed Health and Safety training would be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of painting tools, equipment and colours is preferable, but training will be provided.
