Roland Horvath, based in County Cork, is seeking a Painter to perform interior and exterior painting for residential and commercial properties in Ireland. The role requires preparing surfaces, applying coatings, and delivering quality finishing work on-site in a full-time capacity.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of painting experience, knowledge of finishing standards, and the ability to work both independently and with a team.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years' experience as a Painter in residential, commercial or property maintenance settings.
• Strong knowledge of surface preparation, painting techniques and finishing standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with painting tools, materials and safe working practices.

Responsabilités

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling cracks and applying primers as required.
• Apply paint, varnish and protective coatings to interior and exterior surfaces.
• Carry out detailed finishing work, including cutting‑in, touch‑ups and decorative painting.
• Work with various surfaces, including plaster, wood, metal and masonry.
• Select appropriate paints, materials and techniques for each project.
• Maintain painting tools, equipment and materials in good working condition.
• Follow work schedules, specifications and instructions.
• Comply with health and safety requirements and maintain a clean, organised work area.
