Intel Ireland, Leixlip, in partnership with Dundalk Institute of Technology (DkIT), offers a 23-month paid Manufacturing Technician Traineeship that blends full-time employment with academic study toward a Level 6 NFQ Higher Certificate in Manufacturing Engineering.

The programme requires no prior semiconductor experience and welcomes school leavers and career-changers; it covers equipment maintenance, process improvement, automation and collaboration with engineering, quality and operations

Responsibilities

Develop practical technical skills within a high-tech semiconductor manufacturing environment.

Learn about automation, robotics and advanced manufacturing technologies.
Work with engineering documentation, procedures and technical drawings.
