Job summary

Woodston Personnel is assisting with the recruitment of a Paediatric Registrar to join our client in Ireland. The role involves providing paediatric medical care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and supporting CAU/ED coverage, outpatient clinics, and ward duties.

Candidates should hold a medical degree and be registered with the IMC or eligible for registration, with strong communication and teamwork skills and a commitment to continuous professional development.

Qualifications

• Hold a recognized medical degree and be registered or eligible for registration with the Irish Medical Council (IMC).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care to paediatric patients including assessment, diagnosis, and management of conditions.
• Collaborate with nurses, specialists and other health professionals to ensure holistic care.
• Participate in acute general paediatrics, CAU/ED cover, outpatient clinics and ward duties.
• Attend on-call and weekend cover as required by hospital needs.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and participate in audits and quality initiatives.
