• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests and develops therapeutic care plans.
• Makes medical diagnoses and initiates appropriate therapy within scope.
• Implements emergency measures in acute situations.
• Documents accurately in EMR for coding and billing.
• Educates patients and families on health, medications, and resources.
• Communicates with attending physician for care decisions.
• Participates in patient safety, quality improvement, and continuing education.
• Adheres to privileging and specialty-specific requirements.
