Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.

• Working with Athlone Canal Heritage Committee and its sister project at No: 1 Gun Battery by assisting in the preservation and conservation works on Athlone Canal and the No 1 Gun Battery.
• Litter picking, strimming and weed control.
• Planting flowers, pruning of shrubs and hedges.
• Painting of bollards, maintenance of fences, and cleaning of wooden and concrete structures.
• Flexibility is required as interchange of roles with Athlone Canal Heritage Committee and No 1 Gun Battery is required.
