Job summary

Direct Medics Ltd. is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse for ad hoc agency shifts at Our Lady's Hospital Navan. You will deliver high-quality patient care, monitor conditions, administer medications, and collaborate with the healthcare team.

The ideal candidate will hold valid NMBI registration, have at least 6 months of acute clinical experience, and possess excellent communication and teamwork skills. In-house BLS and Manual Handling training are available, and transport is advantageous.

• Minimum 6 months recent acute clinical experience.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Access to own transport is an advantage but not essential.
• Direct Medics can provide in-house Basic Life Support (BLS) and Manual Handling training.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including administering medications and monitoring vital signs.
• Assess patient conditions and provide necessary interventions.
• Collaborate with doctors, healthcare professionals and families to ensure patient well-being.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
