Overview

Our client is a well established private Cork city hospital, who as a result of continuing expansion has an immediate requirement for an Orthopaedic Nurse to work in the area of General Orthopaedic clinics.

The successful candidate will ensure that the specialised skills and knowledge in Orthopaedic Nursing are utilised to facilitate the provision of a quality patient focused service for all patients attending the Hospital.

Requirements

To be considered for the role, the following criteria will apply:

  • Registered General Nurse on the live register with The NMBI (Adaptation/RCSI aptitude test support is not available for this role).
  • Demonstrable commitment to patient Safety & Quality.
  • H Dip in Orthopaedic Nursing (desirable)
  • Minimum of 5 years post registration experience in orthopaedics
  • Excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work on their own initiative and to be self motivated.
  • Excellent knowledge of contemporary nursing practice and skills.
  • Eligible to work in Ireland.
