Job summary

Stryker operates a Neurovascular facility on Model Farm Road in Cork and is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead manufacturing teams. You will plan production, drive KPIs, coach staff, and champion GMP, safety, and Lean initiatives to improve quality and efficiency.

The role requires hands-on leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and development of people while meeting customer demand and cost targets in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Degree or Masters in Business, Production Management, Engineering or similar discipline.
• Minimum 4 years manufacturing experience.
• Minimum 2 years supervisor experience.
• Demonstrated leadership to guide cross-functional teams.
• GMP/FDA regulatory knowledge, housekeeping and safety awareness.
• Strong coaching and feedback abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the production team to achieve targets across quality, service, cost and people development.
• Plan and prioritise production to meet customer demand and maintain inventory levels.
• Monitor output, KPIs, rework, scrap and quality standards; take corrective action.

Operations Supervisor - Stryker Model Farm Road

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the production team to achieve targets across quality, service, cost and people development.
• Plan and prioritise production to meet customer demand and maintain appropriate inventory levels.
• Monitor production output, KPIs, rework, scrap and quality standards, taking action where required.
• Coach, train and support team members to build skills and achieve their potential.
• Provide regular feedback and address performance issues fairly, respectfully and promptly.
• Promote positive employee relations, engagement and open communication across the team.
• Work with Training to develop training plans and support employee development.
• Participate in the recruitment and selection of Production Operators.
• Maintain high standards of GMP, 6S, housekeeping, health and safety.
• Lead and participate in Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Support process improvements and ensure quality standards and procedures are followed.
• Communicate team and business performance through regular meetings and daily engagement on the production floor.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve efficiency.
• Manage time and attendance, annual leave and overtime planning effectively.

Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills

• Degree or Masters in Business, Production Management, Engineering or similar Discipline or demonstrated equivalent experience
• 4 years minimum experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 2 years minimum Supervisor experience..
• Demonstrated leadership aptitude to work with people and set direction as part of a cross functional team.
• Good knowledge of GMP / FDA regulatory requirements, housekeeping, health and safety.
• Genuine interest in investing in people and facilitates individual and team engagement and development.
• Ability to coach, provide effective feedback and manage performance.

Ireland Pay Ranges:

• Ireland: €57,000 - €94,000 EUR Annual
