Job summary

Jobtailor in Dublin is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to lead day-to-day warehouse functions across inbound, outbound, inventory control, spares and decommissioning.

You will drive performance, ensure SLAs and KPIs are met, lead multiple shifts, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality and customer satisfaction while maintaining a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing warehouse operations within a Contract Logistics or distribution environment.
• Strong leadership experience managing large operational teams across multiple shifts.
• Experience overseeing inbound, outbound, inventory management, spares, or value-added services operations.
• A strong customer focus with excellent relationship management skills.
• Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Experience analysing operational data and driving performance improvements.
• Understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• A proactive approach to health, safety, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations across Inbound, Outbound, Inventory Control, Spares, and Decommissioning.
• Manage performance, productivity, and service delivery across multiple shifts.
• Ensure customer SLAs, KPIs, and contractual obligations are met.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Build relationships with customers and act as the primary operational contact.
• Lead operational review meetings and present performance reports.
• Monitor productivity, inventory accuracy, labour utilisation, and order accuracy.
• Manage workforce planning and resource allocation to meet demand.
• Develop, coach, and support Supervisors and Team Leaders.
• Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, safety, and engagement.
• Ensure compliance with procedures, customer requirements, and health and safety standards.
• Lead accident investigations, risk assessments, audits, and corrective actions.
