Virtu Financial is offering a Quant Trading Internship in Dublin, onsite for a 10-week programme starting 21 June 2027 and ending 27 August 2027. Interns will work with senior traders on real trading and quantitative problems, with training and mentorship across desks such as FX, Fixed Income, Options, ETFs, and Energy.

Ideal candidates have strong quantitative skills, programming experience, and a competitive academic record, graduating in 2028.

Qualifications

• Excellent academic background (all subjects welcome).
• Outstanding quantitative problem‑solving skills and mathematical aptitude.
• Some programming experience is required (Python, SQL, Java or C++ are a plus).
• Graduating year 2028.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior traders with design and testing of trading strategies.
• Work on real problems in market making and data analysis.
• Collaborate with quants and software engineers on projects during the internship.
